Board & Train Programs in Raleigh & Durham, NC

Imagine What Life Could Be Like With a Well-Trained Dog

No more being dragged down the sidewalk. No more worrying whether your dog will come when called. Imagine enjoying walks, outings, and everyday life with a dog who understands what you’re asking—and responds.

Our Board & Train programs give your dog focused, daily training while living with one of our professional trainers. Instead of spending the day in a traditional boarding kennel, your dog learns obedience and good manners in a home environment, with training that extends into real-world situations.

For over a decade, Off Leash K9 Training Raleigh/Durham has helped local dogs and their owners build better communication and more reliable obedience.

With daily training videos, personalized attention, and hands-on instruction for owners, we make sure you’re part of the process—even while your dog is staying with us.

How Our Board & Train Programs Work

Your dog becomes part of their trainer’s daily routine, receiving structured training, consistent guidance, and opportunities to practice new skills in everyday situations.

Training doesn’t stop when the formal lesson ends. From waiting politely at doors to walking through busy public spaces, your dog practices obedience in the kinds of environments they’ll encounter after returning home.

You’ll receive daily video updates so you can follow their progress, along with daily weigh-ins to help us monitor their well-being.

At the end of the program, we’ll teach you how to use the same commands and training techniques. Because lasting results depend on more than what your dog learns with us—they depend on what you can confidently maintain at home.

How Booking Works

  1. Free phone consultation. Call (919) 849-3974 and tell us about your dog — we’ll help you choose between the 1-Week and 2-Week program (or tell you honestly if Behavior Modification is the better fit).
  2. Reserve today — or call if you have questions. Ready when you are: the 2 Week Board & Train is reserved with a $1,000 deposit; the 1 Week Freedom Board & Train is paid in full at booking. We’ll email you the booking link to schedule your dog’s stay — and if anything’s unclear, just call us at (919) 849-3974.
  3. Drop off and follow along. Your dog lives and trains with a pro trainer — and you get daily video updates and daily weigh-ins the whole time.
  4. Turnover day. You get a one-on-one session (1.5 hours for the 1-Week, 2 hours for the 2-Week) where we teach you everything, plus refresher support after — 2 refresher lessons with the 1-Week, lifetime refreshers with the 2-Week.

Every board & train program includes your dog’s e-collar and leash in the price — there are no separate equipment costs.
