WHY IT MATTERS

Why professional training is essential for Wake Forest dog owners

Safety & control

A dog that recalls off leash and holds a stay at a crosswalk is a safer dog — for your family, your neighbors, and your dog.

Stronger bond

Training is a shared language. When your dog understands what you want, walks, outings, and everyday life get easier for both of you.

Skills that transfer

Commands practiced at home are proofed where it counts — on lesson days in Knightdale and Raleigh, at local parks and public places — so they hold up anywhere.

Family harmony

Consistent rules and calm manners mean fewer chewed shoes, fewer jumped-on guests, and a dog the whole household enjoys.

Behavior modification

Reactivity, leash pulling, and anxiety do not fade on their own. Structured training gives your dog a clear job and calmer responses, even on a busy greenway.

TRAINING IN WAKE FOREST

Built for how Wake Forest dogs actually live

Wake Forest is a town of parks, trails, and busy neighborhood streets. A dog that behaves at home still has to cope with squirrels, other dogs at local parks, and crowds in public places. That is why our dog training Wake Forest NC lessons do not stop at the kitchen floor — Wake Forest dog owners join us for lesson days in Knightdale and Raleigh — both an easy drive — where lessons are held at local parks and public places, so sit, stay, heel, and recall hold up when it matters.

If you want the work done faster, a board & train program gives your dog two or three weeks of daily structure in a trainer’s home, plus a go-home lesson so you can keep the results going.

What Our Clients Say

★★★★★ 4.8 stars · 405 Google reviews

"My wife and I wanted to improve the behavior of our five-year old dog Dingo (who is a gigantic 20 lbs), and could not be happier with Off Leash K9 training, and the results we have seen. None of our dog's issues were major prior to training, however with our first baby on the way, we wanted to improve his ability to stay calm with new visitors, not to "pull" on the leash when walking, and be able to be off-leash from time to time without becoming a flight risk. We began seeing results after the first session, and after the four lesson package he has become much calmer with strangers, and extremely attentive and receptive to commands on walks. We are also now able to have him in the yard without a leash on. The training by Diana and Alisa is very effective, consistent and easy to replicate once you return home. Moreover, they are both extremely professional, and strike the right balance between authority/kindness to your dog. I would recommend their training to anyone, and from our experience, especially to those who might worry their dog might be "too old" for new training. Our dog is much more obedient, and calmer as a result of the training."

"Our first dog was trained by Alisa 13 years ago and we had such a great experience we knew this puppy needed training as well. Maggie transformed our overactive golden puppy into a respectful gentleman. He doesn’t pull on a leash, jump up on people and waits patiently to be fed. Proper training is worth the investment, and makes everyone’s lives (including the dog) easier. I’ve already given Maggie’s info to my neighbors as they comment on how well behaved our dog is."

"Off Leash training & Diana have been a blessing to my family! We started with puppy manners training & it made the early months easy! Then we had Diana train Jackson as he became 7 months old and our dog is now a dream dog! Thank you!!!!"
